Bamboo and I.

I have taken to my pastime hobby and turned it into my labor of love. Bamboo is a medium that is used in some amazing architectural Artwork and Design.
The passion for me started when I replicated a simple bench from bamboo which I had something else in mind for its purpose.

It all started over 10 years ago and since then I have slowly developed a skill of what two pieces of bamboo can become. The items that I have make are items made for my home which are purposeful and practical. With this in mind I would like others to experience a unique piece of art in their home.

When I see items that could be made from bamboo the mind process starts thinking. My educational training is self-taught and experimenting with different concepts of finishing.

Every day I am processing different ways, alternative joinery and creative thinking. As one would say, “learn by your mistake and it will be your teacher”.
